RPL (ACS) Sample

ACS Project Report Form or Sample ACS RPL Project Report Form or RPL Sample (Recognition of Prior Learning) Reports are available for all ICT disciplines and ICT ANZSCO Codes. Sample RPL Report is very helpful to provide guidance to write your own report.

RPL Sample consists of two sections. Section 1; Key Areas of Knowledge. This section provides information about the Areas of Knowledge.  Section 2; RPL Project Reports. Two project reports provided in the Sample RPL for ACS. Both project reports are related to a specific work episode or project.

Section 1: ICT Key Areas of Knowledge

Section 1 of the Sample RPL Report will consists of One Topic from the Essential Core ICT Knowledge (Topic 1 or Topic 2) and One Topic from the General ICT Knowledge (Topic 3, Topic 4 or Topic 5). Sample RPL addresses at least 2 subtopics from each of the topics in the RPL Application form. The Sample RPL for ACS will explain how the in-depth knowledge is acquired in these topic areas through professional experience.

A – Essential Core ICT Knowledge

Topic I – ICT Professional Knowledge

Sub Topics; Ethics, Professional Expectations, Teamwork Concepts and Issues, Communication, Societal Issues

Topic II – ICT Problem Solving

Sub Topics; Modelling Methods, Processes to understand problems, Methods and tools for handling abstraction

B – General ICT Knowledge

Topic III – Technology Resources

Sub Topics; Hardware and Software Fundamentals, Data and Information Management, Data Communications and Networking

Topic IV – Technology Building

Sub Topics; Human Factors, Programming, Information Systems Development and Acquisition

Topic V – ICT Management

Sub Topics; IT Governance and Organizational Issues, IT Project Management, ICT Service Management, Security Management

Section 2: RPL Project Reports

Two project reports are provided in the Section 2 of RPL Sample Report. Each RPL project report is written in a coherent way and describes a project or engagement that demonstrate that how it is performed from an ICT Professional perspective. All the Questions of the latest RPL for ACS Application Form are answered for each project report to provide an understanding about how you can complete your own report.
